Welcome The Albion Public House and Dining Rooms was refurbished in 2005 and was transformed into one of Bristol's most prominent destinations. With its modern British cuisine, real ales, extensive wine list and sunny courtyard, the Albion is now firmly at the heart of Clifton village life. The Albion was conceived, by designer and owner Owain George, as a platform for the best in locally produced fine food, great wines and good hospitality. The grade 2 listed Albion underwent a five month overhaul including the complete renovation of the interior and the enclosed courtyard. In addition the first floor rooms of the old coaching inn have been transformed into a series of private dining rooms. The Albion dates back to the 17th century and has long been established as one of Clifton's most popular haunts. With the help of Head chef Clarke Oldfield the Albion is now one of Bristol's premier dining establishments while retaining all the elements you would expect to find in a well appointed village pub. Valentine's Day: The Albion will be open for dinner on Sunday 14th February with a special Valentine's menu available on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th February. The menu can be viewed here. | |
